Successful Aging Expo – April 11, 2015
The Los Angeles Daily News invites you to participate in the 5th annual Successful Aging Expo designed especially for people ages 50 and above. This FREE one-day event will be held on Saturday, April 11th at the Sportsmen’s Lodge Events Center and will be rich in resources and information. Visitors will have the opportunity to visit over 50 booths from companies and organizations offering something of value to this dynamic and ever-expanding audience ranging from young and middle-aged adults to baby boomers and beyond.

National Walking Day – April 1, 2015
There is no better day to join our Champions of Joy in Aging in our Walk to LIVE WELL, than on April 1st!
These days, we’re spending more time at work and sitting in front of a screen than ever before. We’re becoming less active, which can increase our risk of heart disease, stroke and other diseases.
Take the first step to a healthier life by taking part in the American Heart Association’s National Walking Day on the first Wednesday in April. On this day, Americans are encouraged to lace up their sneakers and take 30 minutes out of their day to get up and walk.

Celebrate the contribution of physicians who serve our country by caring for its’ citizens.
The Heart Walk celebrates those who have made lifestyle changes and encourages many more to take the pledge to live healthier lifestyles while raising the dollars needed to fund life-saving research and initiatives in our local community. We need your support! Join us this year! Bring your energy, your passion and your stories…let your footsteps be heard!
